How to Create a Menu Cover
For small businesses on a budget or organizers looking to host a party, creating a menu cover adds a durable and professional touch to the food and drink list. You can make this item from scratch or customize a design on the web at reasonable costs. A menu cover offers a chance to enhance your existing menu with lasting materials and design.

Making the Menu Cover

1
Print your design onto your preferred paper stock. Print just a few at first in order to see if the shape and look is what you want after making a complete menu cover.
-
2
Laminate the menu or secure it firmly between two sheets of transparent plastic sheets.
-
-
3
Cut your material (leather, metal or thick card stock) into a rectangle at least twice the size and slightly larger in scale than the plasticized menu. This will serve as a menu jacket. You can also cut a rectangular shape just larger than the printed paper if you want a one-sheet design.
-
4
Fold your large piece of material in half. Glue, staple or otherwise fasten the menu design on top. You may want to lay other strips of material around it as a fastening boarder.
