How to Upload Videos From a Computer to an iPod

Transfer movies to your iPod.

If you own an iPod, you know that one of its great features is the ability to store and play videos. As long as you have enough free disk space on your iPod, transferring videos from your computer to the iPod is fast and easy. All you need to get started is a USB cable and a computer with iTunes.

Things You'll Need

• iPod
• Computer
• iTunes
• USB cable

Instructions

Sync Movies

1. Use the USB cable to connect your iPod to your computer.

2. Open iTunes.

3. Click the iPod icon in iTunes.

4. Click the "Movies" tab at the top of the screen.

5. Check the box beside "Sync Movies."

6. Check the box beside "Automatically Include" and then select the movies you want to transfer to your iPod.

7. Click "Apply."

8. Click "Sync."

Tips & Warnings

• If your video isn't already in iTunes, you can add it to iTunes easily. Open iTunes. Click on "File" and then "Add to Library." Select the video you want to add and click "OK." Once you've done this, you can follow the steps above to transfer the video to your iPod.
