Instructions

1
Open word processing software. Most word processing software works basically the same. These instructions should work without any problems on all word processing software.
-
2
Decide how you want to lay out the card. If your image is narrow and long, click on "File." Go down to "Page Setup," and click on it. Click on "Landscape," and then "OK." If your image is going to be short and wide, do not change the page setup.

-
3
Choose an image for your card. You can take a special picture of your family, use a special image that you have, use a photograph of a painting or drawing or use some type of clip art for your image. To put your image on the card, click on "Insert," then click "Image." Click on "From File" and find your image. Click on your image, and click "Insert." Your image should appear on the card.
-
4
Re-size image on the card. Click on the image once to make the frame show up around the image. It will be lines around the image with squares in the corners and in the middle of each line. Hold down the left mouse button, and pull the image larger by moving the mouse outward across the squares.
-
5
Click on the image, and click the "Align right" button on the top of the screen.
-
6
Click on the space on the right side of the image, and click on "enter." Add any words you want under the image.
-
7
Click on enter until you get to a second page.
-
8
Type in the message that you want to send to your friends and family.
-
9
Print the card. When you print the card, click on "Print," then click on the dot in front of the word "Pages." Put in the number 1 in the open box, and click the "OK" button.
This will make the front page print first. Print the second page on the back. Place the paper into the paper slot, so that the second page will print on the side that doesn't have anything on it. Click on "Print," then click on the dot in front of the word "Pages." Put in the number 2 in the open box, and click the "OK" button. It will print the words on the back of the image.
