      Remove stinky smell from old leather by using a damp cloth with 2 tsp. of baking soda. Apply the dampened baking soda to the leather and let it stay overnight. Wipe off the baking soda with a clean damp cloth and buff with a dry cloth.

      Place the leather outside for a few hours for 2 days. The fresh air and sunlight will help to eliminate unpleasant odors.

      Clean your old leather with a mixture of vinegar and linseed oil. Mix 1 part white vinegar with 2 parts of linseed oil in a container. Apply the solution to the leather using a clean cloth. Leave it for 24 hours, then use a soft clean cloth to buff the leather.
