How to Configure magicJack Voicemail
MagicJack is a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone service. The service uses an Internet connection to provide phone service. MagicJack customers receive voicemail as part of the service. Callers can leave messages even when your computer or magicJack-connected phone is off. The messages can be retrieved at any time. Configuring magicJack voicemail ensures that only authorized users are able to access voicemail messages.

Dial your 10-digit phone number from the phone plugged into the magicJack and press the "*" key when the voicemail system's greeting begins to play.

Enter your voicemail password. By default, the voicemail password is "1234."

Press "0" to enter the voicemail settings menu. Select the option to change your voicemail password. Enter a new password for your voicemail. The password must be four digits. Re-enter the password when prompted to confirm your selection.

Record your greeting. Listen to the playback of the greeting and press the "1" key to confirm you want to use the greeting as recorded. Press the "2" key to re-record the greeting. Hang up the phone when you hear confirmation the greeting was successfully saved.

Tips & Warnings
Voicemail messages also are accessible by email. When you receive a new voice message, an email will be sent to the email address registered to the account. Download the audio file attached to the email to hear the message.
Retrieve voicemail messages from another phone by calling your 10-digit magicJack phone number and pressing the "*" key during the greeting.
