1
Find out if the bride prefers red or white wine by asking friends, relatives or the groom. Ask the bride herself if you have to so you can make sure that the wine basket is tailored to her individual tastes. Consider champagne or a light table wine if you can not find out what type of wine she prefers. Purchase a bottle of wine and store at room temperature until you are ready to make the basket.

2
Purchase a large basket to place the wine gifts in. Make sure it is tall enough to hold a bottle of wine standing up. Choose a basket that is either white or a neutral shade and avoid bright, bold colors that may clash with the wedding colors.

3
Line the inside of the basket with half the bag of the paper filler. Use paper that is white or the same color as the bridal parties dresses. Distribute the filler evenly throughout the basket and fluff it up with your hands.
-
4
Dig a small hole into the center of the paper filler and place the bottle of wine standing upright in the hole. Make sure the bottom of the bottle touches the basket itself. Distribute the filler paper evenly around the bottom of the bottle. Allow the bottle to lean and rest on the basket handle if necessary.

5
Place the wedding themed wine accessories throughout the basket. Include engraved wine glasses, a heart-shaped corkscrew, wedding themed wine glass charms, books about different types of wine to enjoy on the honeymoon, wine bottle bags that match the bridal party colors and picture frame coasters that will hold photos of the newlyweds.
-
6
Arrange the larger accessories evenly throughout the basket. Add the remaining paper filler to the basket and fluff it up nicely. Add any smaller accessories, such as wine charms or a corkscrew by gently placing them on top of the filler paper. Rearrange all items as necessary to make the basket look its best.

7
Unroll the plastic wrap on a flat surface. Place the basket in the center of the wrap. Lift all four corners of the wrap up and over the basket so that they meet at the top, center of the basket. Pull the wrap tight and tie a piece of ribbon in a knot around the wrap to secure all four corners together. Tie some curling ribbon around the tied piece of ribbon, or add a large, decorative bow. Fold any excess plastic wrap under the bottom of the basket and secure with tape.

Tips & Warnings
In addition to the wine accessories, you can make a food and wine basket by adding a variety of organic fruits, fine cheeses and gourmet chocolates that the bride can enjoy on her honeymoon.
