How to Hang Flower Pot Hangers

Things You'll Need
- Pencil
- Level
- Cordless drill
- Screws
- Pilot drill bit
- Hammer drill
- Masonry drill bit
- Plastic anchors and screws or Tapcons

Place your flower pot hanger up against the mounting surface in the proper orientation for your specific flower pot hanger.

Level it and mark out the mounting holes with a pencil. Stand back and ensure this is where you want to install the hanger.

Mount it to the surface. The mounting method varies depending on the surface you are mounting to.
Wood surface: Place the hanger up to the marked out holes. Screw the hanger to the wall with wood screws.
Aluminum enclosures and porches: Drill a small hole at the marked-out holes. Secure the hanger to the wall with the provided sheet metal screws.
Concrete and masonry: Drill 1/4-inch holes with a masonry drill bit at the marked-out holes. Drill these holes 1 inch deep and insert plastic anchors. Tap them in with a hammer and screw the hanger to the wall. Alternatively, use concrete screws, such as the Tapcon brand, in lieu of plastic anchors and screws. Screw Tapcons directly into the concrete.
