Instructions

    • 1

Clean both sides of a glass pane with window cleaner. Dry the glass.

    • 2

Place the glass pane on top of a stained glass pattern. You can find free stained glass patterns online and in stained glass craft magazines. You can also use pages from coloring books as a design pattern.

    • 3

Trace the outlines of the pattern images onto the glass pane with Redi-lead strips. Redi-lead strips are another Gallery Glass product made to work with the stained glass paint. The strips are flexible and self-adhesive, so creating the outlines of your stained glass design is quick and resembles the lead in a real stained glass project.

    • 4

Fill in the sections between the Redi-lead strips with Gallery Glass paint. Apply the stained glass paint using the applicator tip on the bottle. Point the applicator tip to the glass pane and squeeze the paint from the bottle. Make sure to leave the top of the Redi-lead strips visible; do not cover them with paint.

    • 5

Comb the sections of stained glass paint with a paint comb. The paint comb will help remove the air bubbles. Allow the paint to dry completely.

Tips & Warnings
