How to Use Earthlink With Verizon
Earthlink and Verizon both offer Internet service. You can use both to connect to the Internet, as long as you have the right services and hardware. You will need to already have an Earthlink Internet account, and you'll also need to have a Verizon Internet card for your laptop or computer. Then, you can use your Verizon Internet card to connect to your Earthlink Internet, without having a modem or router.

1
Sign up for Earthlink Internet at your home or business. Usually, you can do this by calling the local Earthlink number, or by calling 1-866-838-3080. Wait for the technician to come to your home or business to install Earthlink. When you are asked which type of modem you want to use, explain that you'll be using your Verizon Internet card.

2
Go to your local Verizon dealer in person and ask to have a Verizon Internet card installed on your computer. This allows you to connect to any Internet, such as the Earthlink Internet at home. You can also use your Internet card to connect to the Internet using your Verizon number, so you can be online when you aren't near your Earthlink connection as well.

Turn on your computer and click your "Verizon Internet" button. This allows you to access the Internet through Verizon. You can also install a regular modem so you can access your Earthlink account without having Verizon. You can use your Verizon connection when you are away from your Earthlink connection.
