1
Remove the legs from both crutches. Do this by unwinding the screw that adjusts the height of the crutch so that the leg slips out of the main body of the crutch. You will now have two separate pieces: the part where the handle of the crutch is located and the leg of the crutch.
-
2
Attach both legs together using the screws used to hold them to the main crutch body. Overlap them a little bit in the middle. This will make them form one pole. Make the pole a little shorter than your leg. Check to see that the crutch tips are on opposite sides of the pole.

3
Remove the hand grips from the main crutch body completely by unscrewing them.
-
4
Attach the two ends of the main crutch body together. Place the parts where the legs were, fitting them together, and align the first hole of the leg length adjustment area. Take the screw from the hand grip (which should be quite long) and thread it through the holes. Before securing it, slip on the pole that you made with the legs of the crutches; thread it through a hole closet to the end. Secure these together. Now you should have three parts connected at one end by one of the hand grip screws.
-
5
Take one of the hand grips and screw it on to the opposite end of the leg pole, perpendicular to the pole.
-
6
Use the leg stretcher by placing each ankle at one crutch pad (where your armpits usually go when using the crutches) while sitting with your legs splayed. Where you situate the hand grip at the center pole is where you hold on to the leg stretcher.
