How to Find Praxis II Test Scores Results in Kansas thumbnail
Your Praxis II scores will be available 3 to 4 weeks after you take the exam.

Kansas requires educators to pass the Praxis I and II exams in order to receive teaching certification. While the Praxis I exam can be taken on the computer, Praxis II tests are solely paper-based. Praxis II multiple-choice-only test scores are available approximately 3 weeks after your test date, and scores for constructed response exams take an additional week to report. Your scores are available online, but you may access them a few days early via the phone for an additional price.

Instructions

  1. By Phone

    • 1

Call 1-877-ETS-TEACH to contact the Educational Teaching Service (ETS) Praxis Score hotline from a touch-tone phone. This phone service is automated and available every day from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. EST. There will be a $30 surcharge for accessing your scores over the phone that must be paid via credit card.

    • 2

Follow the automated prompts. The phone service will inform you which scores are available depending on the date you took the Praxis exam. You will need to have the date of your exam, your candidate ID number and your credit card information available in order to continue through the phone service.

Confirm that your information is correct. You will be charged for each phone call you need to make, so ensure that the information you input into the phone is accurate. Only proceed to your score report once you confirm the information regarding your Praxis II exam.

Write down your score number. You may have the score repeated as often as you would like during the same phone call. However, once you disconnect, you will have to pay another $30 to hear your score again.

    Online

    • 5

Log in to your Praxis account. The ETS required you to create a user name and password when you registered for your Praxis II exam. Use this information to log in.

    • 6

Click on the "View Current Test Scores" link. This will connect you to a list of all your current Praxis scores. Praxis II scores are only available 45 days after they are published online, so make sure to access them as soon as possible. Otherwise, you will need to pay to have them sent to you after the 45-day period has expired.

    • 7

Click on the link to your Praxis II score. This will open up a .pdf file of your complete Praxis II score report. The score report includes your background and educational information, the score recipients you requested, the current test date with your score, the possible range, the average performance and whether you passed, your highest score for that exam, the Kansas Department of Education requirements and a breakdown of your test score. You may print out a copy of your Praxis score report. You should also save it to your computer so you will always have a copy on hand.
