1
Measure your bar to determine the length of the tubing you need to create your foot rail. For an indoor bar, any material can be used. However, if your bar is outdoors, stick to stainless steel or wood for the tubing for your foot rail.
-
2
Screw the bracket onto the left side of the tubing, 6 inches from the end and then screw the bracket into the left side of the bar.

3
Place the level on top of the tubing and then screw the bracket onto the right side, 6 inches from the end of the tubing. Adjust the tubing so that it is level and then screw the bracket into the right side of the bar.
-
4
Measure every 4 feet and screw a bracket into the rail and into the bar. This will prevent the rail from sagging and make it secure.
-
5
Screw on the end caps to each open end of the railing. This will give a finished look to your foot rail. If you are putting metal caps onto a wooden rail you will need to use external fittings to go over the ends of the wooden rail.

Tips & Warnings
If you need more than 8 feet of tubing for your bar, you can connect pieces by screwing a splicer onto the ends of each section of tubing.
To go around corners, you will need an elbow. Screw the elbow onto the ends of one piece of tubing and then screw it to the other piece to connect the two and create a corner curve.
