How to Create Your Own Word Scramble With Multiple Words

You can create a word scramble on paper or on the computer.

A scramble is a brainteaser you can use for fun or educational purposes. Using multiple words makes the scramble more challenging. You may create the word scramble on paper or on the computer. It helps to double-check the letters within the scramble in case you accidentally leave out a letter when you create it. You can use random words or words that match a specific theme for a party or classroom project.

Instructions

Prepare Word Scramble: Option One

1. Write multiple words on paper.

2. Cut out each letter and group it with the word it belongs to. Scramble the pieces of paper within each group.

3. Jot down each letter as you pull it from the group (in no specific order), placing each set of words next to the other.

4. Write the solution beside the scrambled words (for reference purposes).

1. Write down the words on paper.

2. Pull letters in random order from individual words.

3. Write down each letter as it's pulled, crossing out the letters you've used as you progress.

4. Write down the solution beside the scrambled words (for reference purposes).

Transfer Information

1. Write the scrambled words on a clean sheet of paper or type them onto your computer. Number the multiple words on your page and add a blank line for fill-ins.

2. Place the answers on another sheet, so you can print them on the reverse side or add them to the bottom of your page.

3. Number each answer and use a small font or flip the word upside down to prevent readers from seeing the answers right away.
