How to Convert MPG to MTV

Convert MPG to MTV files for a Chinese MP4 player.

An MP4 player of the Chinese variety utilizes MTV video files. If you own Chinese MP4 player and desire to view MPG files, you must convert them to MTV files via video conversion software.

Instructions

1. Download and install an MPG to MTV video conversion program such as WinAVI, Tipard or Aiseesoft.

2. Open the software you just installed on your laptop or desktop. Click "Convert to other format." Choose the video files on which you plan to perform the conversion. This causes a separate window to come up on your screen to display the video files that you want to convert.

3. Go to the "Output Directory" and click the word "Browse" to find the place on your machine where you desire to send your files of the MTV variety.

4. Click your mouse on the "Advanced" option. This enables you to modify items such as the size and quality of your video files. Then click "Enter."

5. Click "Enter" once again and wait for your system to begin the conversion process. Notice that your screen displays the amount of time that remains in the process via a progress bar. To know when the process concludes, wait for the "Cancel" button to say the word "Done" and then click on it.
