How do I Operate Chrysler Navigation?

Newer Chrysler vehicles are equipped with an all-in-one system known as MyGIG. MyGIG is a multi-function entertainment and navigation system with voice recognition capabilities. Motorists can use the Chrysler navigation system for turn-by-turn directions to anywhere in the country. Typically, a Chrysler owner will first program their home address into the navigation system. They can then program specific destinations into the system on an as-needed basis. The process is simple, but should be completed before the vehicle is in motion.

Instructions

1. Get in your Chrysler and turn on the engine. The MyGIG system will come on automatically. Press the "NAV" button on the right side to activate the navigation system.

2. Select "Destination Entry," which is the first item on the list. Select "Street Address" on the next screen.

3. Press the first button on the top of the list to enter the state name. Go on to the destination address in the same way. Press "Continue" after finishing each step. Push the letter buttons to spell out the street, and select the correct street if the system gives you more than one option.

4. Check the address that pops up on the navigation screen. If everything is correct, press the "Go" button to activate the directions to your destination.
