How to Beat the Game Escape the Car
"Escape the Car" is a point-and-click flash based game that challenges you to get out of a car you are trapped in. To manipulate which part of the car you can see, click on the edge of the screen that points in the direction you want to view. Click on items to pick them up, and click on them in your inventory to use them on the game environment.

Click on the white box between the two front seats and open it. Pick up the flashlight.

Turn your view to the back seats and click on the white box in the center of the lower portion of the screen. Click on the cigarette lighter and retrieve the key.

Go to the back seat view again and click left of the white box to look at the floor. Click on the rug to the right and pick up the knife.

Look at the front of the car and click on the glove box. Use the key on the lock and take the electrical tape and batteries. Click on the batteries in your inventory and then click on the flashlight.

Click under the steering wheel in the front view of the car. Click on the screwdriver and then click on the panel with the four screws above the brake pedal.

Click on the red, blue, green and gray wires. Take the electrical tape from your inventory and click on the exposed wires to wrap them in tape.

Return to the rear of the car and use the knife to cut the two tabs that secure the central panel. Click on the panel and then click on the revealed space behind it.

Type in the code "E40" on the keypad, and then press the green "Enter" button.

Use flashlight in your inventory and click on the trunk space, then click on the cracked light of the left hand side. Retrieve the key that falls out.

Go to the front view of the car and click on the instrument panel behind the steering wheel. Use the key you retrieved from the trunk in the ignition.

Return to the front view and click under the steering wheel. Press the panel marked "Trunk" and return to the trunk of the car.

Click on the opened trunk door.
