How to Remove Yourself From a Marketing Mailing List

Anyone who receives a lot of junk mail or direct marketing mail may wonder how they can stop getting so much of it. Because the mail comes from a number of different mailing lists, it might be difficult to contact each different direct mail marketing organization in order to remove your name from their lists. To avoid writing each direct marketing mailing company, you can instead register on the "National Do Not Mail List" to remove your name from mailing lists.

Instructions

1. Visit the "National Do Not Mail List" registration page.

2. Enter your name and mailing address in the form on the page.

3. Click "Continue & Submit Online."

4. Click the types of marketing lists you would like to continue to receive or click "I do not want to receive any special offers in the mail" to remove your name from all lists. Click "Continue."

5. Click "Submit."
