How to Care for a New Concrete Driveway
When you have paid to have a new concrete driveway installed, you intend to keep the driveway looking its best for as long as possible. Concrete is durable to outdoor conditions and vehicle traffic, but the driveway can begin to look soiled over time from spills and other residue. Incorporate the proper care routine to remove buildup without damaging the concrete. Does this Spark an idea?

Rinse off the driveway regularly with the garden hose to remove bird droppings, leaf stains and similar buildup.

Pour a thick coat of baking soda over any oil or grease spills, and let it sit for about 30 minutes.

Drizzle a thick coat of dish soap on top of the baking soda, and scrub the soap and baking soda into the concrete with a nylon brush. Don't use a wire brush, as it will cut into the concrete and cause permanent damage. Continue scrubbing until you remove all of the stain residue.

Rinse the driveway once again with the garden hose to wash away the cleaning solution.
