How to Make Crystal Earrings
Buying accessories can be pricey, but this should not stop you from wearing beautiful and elegant accessories. Making your own accessories and jewelry would enable you to customize them to exactly what you want. You can make crystal earrings to your own design and even create earrings that match your wardrobe.
Things You'll Need
- 4 pieces 8-millimeter Swarovski Crystals or crystal beads of your choice
- 2 pieces of sterling silver head pins
- 6 pieces 2-millimeter sterling silver beads
- 2 pieces sterling silver eye pins
- 2 sterling silver earring hooks
- Round and flat nose pliers
- Wire cutter
- 2 pieces 6-millimeter clear crystal beads

Take one of the 8-mm crystal beads and drop it gently on a head pin. The flat head will hold it in place. Slide one sterling silver bead on the head pin above the crystal bead.

Slide another crystal bead on top of the sterling silver bead. Add one more silver bead on top of the crystal.

Take the flat nose pliers and clamp down on the head pin just above the top silver bead. Use the round nose pliers to form a small loop at the top of the clamped wire. Cut the excess wire at a slight angle.

Take the eye pin and slide the looped end into the loop you made. Slide one clear crystal bead on to the other end of the eye pin; add another silver bead on top of the crystal. Repeat Step 3 to close the earring. Close the loops with your flat nose pliers. Repeat this process for the second earring.
