Tempur-Pedic foam beds were designed by Bob Trussell who used NASA technology when designing the type of bedding material made for the bed. The multi-layers of foam material is one of the differences from Tempur-Pedic beds and other bed types. Unfortunately, spills and stains can cause odors and produce bacteria in the foam. It is important to perform monthly cleaning and care of your Temper-Pedic bed to sustain its life. In addition, spills should be cleaned immediately to reduce harming the integrity of the foam.
Things You'll Need

- Clothes line

Remove your slip covers from the washer and allow them to air dry on a clothing line or on top of your shower curtain bar. Wait till completely dry before placing back on mattress.
Remove and wash the slip covers. Mix 1 tsp. of mild detergent in a spray bottle filled with distilled water. Spray a light mist over the stain on the mattress. Blot at stain with a white towel.
Fill a spray bottle with distilled water. Rinse off the detergent by spraying at the soapy area. Press down on the mattress with the towel. Place a fan by the area to aid in drying.
Sprinkle baking powder over the stain to reduce the odor. Allow the sodium bicarbonate to absorb the stains for several hours.
Vacuum up the baking soda. Replace the slip covers.
