Instructions

    • 1

Combine 1 cup of distilled water with 2 tbsp. dish soap.

    • 2

Incorporate 1/2 cup corn syrup or 2 tbsp. of glycerin. Stir gently to keep the soap bubbles from foaming.

    • 3

Store the soap bubbles in a 1-gallon milk jug with a lid.

Tips & Warnings

  • Climate can affect bubble solutions. Try experimenting getting the formula just right a few days prior to the party or play day. Dry climates cause bubble solutions to need added water, as much as twice the amount in the recipes. Bubbles will last longer on cooler, humid days, so it is best to blow the bubbles in the morning or evening, in hotter climates. Try using a shaded place if there is one nearby and available.

  • To keep the soap from irritating young childrens' eyes, substitute the dish soap with tear-free baby shampoo.

  • Mix up the bubble solution two to three days in advance, so the alcohol in the soap can evaporate. Bigger and longer-lasting bubbles will be the result.
