How to Record a Voice on Windows

Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP each include a built-in utility called Sound Recorder. It gives you the ability to record and save digital audio files without downloading and installing any additional software. As long as your computer has a sound card, and you have access to a microphone that can be plugged into the sound card, recording your voice using Windows' Sound Recorder application requires just a few clicks.
