Looking up an address or location from space can be a simple process and is readily available online. While sometimes the satellite images don't get as close as the user may want, they still provide enough detail about the location to satisfy someone's curiosity.

   What's neat about these programs is you can take an African tour for a few minutes, then fly over to Antartica for the next tour without spending any money.

   Find a GPS satellite software program online, or look through available smart phone applications. These programs use satellites orbiting in space to pinpoint locations on Earth, allowing a person to zoom in anywhere on the globe. There are a few free programs, such as Google Earth.

2. Type in the address of the location you want to visit. Once entered, the program will shift through satellite images until it pinpoints the location you wanted.

   The zoom and movement functions allow the user to view a structure or landscape from different angles.

   Once the image on the screen has stopped moving, use the program's tools to zoom in more or change the vantage point of view. This allows the user to get closer to the location and view structures and landscape from different angles.
