How to Get Scuff Marks Off Tile Floors
Scuff marks can be a bit more stubborn to remove than other floor marks. Removing those pesky black marks will require a few extra steps before washing the floor. How you wash your tile floor will vary, depending on whether or not it has been sealed and the type of tile. Some tile setters recommend washing tile floors with a vinegar-water solution, while others insist it can etch the grout. Rub the scuff mark with a rubber or art gum eraser. Continue rubbing until the scuff marks disappear.

Vacuum the area to remove the eraser residue.

Wash the floor as you normally would.

Tips & Warnings
For stubborn scuff marks, try cleaning the area with a dampened steel wool soap pad. This may not be suitable for tile that easily scratches.
