Homemade Pop-Up Trailer Clotheslines
Using your pop-up trailer to create a homemade clothesline is simple and efficient. Pop-up trailers have many bars and posts, making it easy to find space to connect string for drying clothes and towels. There also are spaces in the front of a pop-up trailer to create a privacy shield, using the rods on the expandable awning, or on the underside of pop-out beds to hide firewood and personal belongings.
Instructions
-
Bedside Clothesline
-
1
Screw a hook into the bottom of each of the four corners on each bedside.
-
2
Tie the string to each hook.
-
-
3
Hang clothing on string as desired to possibly hide personal belongings stored under the pullout bed.
Backside Clothesline
-
4
Screw two hooks into the bottom of each of the back corners of the pop-out beds.
-
5
Tie one end of the string to the hook on farthest corner of one of the pop-out beds, then tie the string to the inside corner. Tie the other end of the string to the hook on the inside corner of the opposite side of the trailer and secure by tying tightly to the hook on the outside corner.
-
6
Hang clothing on string as desired, in the back of the pop-up trailer.
Awning Clothesline
-
7
Tie string around the poles of your expandable awning.
-
8
Guide the string to rest on the pole fasteners of your awning so that the string will not slide down the poles when weight is added.
-
9
Hang clothing on string as desired, using it to block other campers from being able to see under your awning area. Be sure to leave space to walk around the clothing.
