How to Import Microsoft CRM

The CRM, as in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, stands for Customer Relationship Management. CRM focuses on service, sales and marketing. You can import data such as contacts, sales data and customer information into CRM using the Import Wizard.

Instructions

1. Open the CRM web client on the computer. Click the "Tools" menu and select "Import."

2. Click "Browse" in the "Source import file" dialogue box. Find and select the file you want to import into CRM and click "Open."

3. Use the "Record Type" box to specify the type of data you are importing.

4. Click "Import," then click "Finish."

Tips & Warnings

• Save your data in CRM to another file folder to prevent accidentally deleting important data.

• Turning off the computer while importing files to CRM can corrupt the files.
