How to File Online at the Michigan Unemployment Agency
Michigan residents who lose a job may qualify for unemployment benefits, based on wages in the most recent calendar quarters. You'll qualify for unemployment benefits if you are unemployed, but actively seeking a job. Filing for Michigan unemployment benefits can be done by phone, in person or online. Filing online is an easy process, if you've prepared all the correct documentation, and takes about 45 minutes to complete the application.

- Quarterly gross earnings
