Write a detailed job description that includes information such as a description of your company, the job title, job responsibilities, required qualifications and background, preferred characteristics of a candidate, salary and benefit information.

Visit the Monster and HotJobs website. Click on "Post a Job" in the upper right-hand area of the homepage. This is the area for employers to sign in and also to browse resumes of candidates.

Enter the location of the job you want to post. Then click "Get Prices." You can also choose to post a single job and add the location you want later or purchase bundled job posting packages. One job in any location costs $369, and bundled packages save you money if you plan to post several jobs. If you need to post more than 50 jobs, contact Monster and HotJobs by phone at 1-877-HOT-JOBS.

Change the quantity of jobs you want to purchase on the next page, if necessary. Select how long you want your advertisement to run: 30 or 60 days. Select whether you want the name of your company or organization to be hidden in the advertisement. Click "Add to Order."

Review your order under "Your Order Summary" on the right side of the page. When you are satisfied your order is right, click on "Checkout."

Register as a user on Monster and Hotjobs as a recruiter if you do not already have a Monster and HotJobs account. Log in if you do have an account.

Enter your payment information, and agree to the service terms and conditions. Post your job. Publish your advertisement.
