The Repair Instructions for a Kodak LS443 Gear
The Kodak LS443 is a compact digital camera built around a 4.1 megapixel CCD (charge coupled device) sensor and a 3x optical zoom lens. The camera comes with a docking station that connects to your computer to automatically download your photos. The docking station also recharges the camera while it is connected to the station. When digital cameras stop working properly, you can do a few things to try and fix them.

1
Hold the camera in your hand and carefully inspect the lens. Look for any dirt on the front of the lens that may cause spots on your pictures. Also look between the lens components. Zoom lenses are designed to move in and out, and during this function they may carry dust or dirt in between the different parts of the lens barrel. If left unchecked it could cause the lens to jam.

2
Place the camera in the docking station and wait to see if it automatically starts to download its pictures to your computer. If not, remove the camera from the docking station, and clean the connector on the docking station and the camera. Check to see if the USB cable that is connecting the docking station to your computer is connected properly. You can also re-install the software on your computer.

3
Check the camera's internal memory or memory card if the camera does not take any pictures. When the memory card is full, the camera will no longer take pictures as it has nowhere to save them.
