How to Stop Eye Blinking
When you automatically blink, you are supplying moisture and helping keep foreign matter from irritating your eyes. Excessive or rapid eye blinking may be a sign of a serious disorder. Blepharospasm is any abnormal blinking or eyelid twitch. Patients with blepharospasm have normal eyes. The visual disturbance is due to the forced closings of the eyelids. In many cases, adequate rest will resolve the problem. Children with abnormal blinking usually recover without treatment.
