How to Access a Bellsouth Account

Accessing your AT&T (Bell South) account is easy on the Web.

Your Bell South account has not disappeared. As of March 2006, Bell South is owned by AT&T. As such, your account is now with AT&T, and can be accessed through their website. Accessing your account online is convenient because you don't have to navigate through a phone tree and wait on hold for ages. Even if you have trouble logging in, AT&T's customer service will be glad to help you.

Things You'll Need

• Web browser
• Log in name
• Password
• Phone number

Instructions

1. Click the desktop icon of your favorite Web browser to launch it. Alternatively, click "Start," then "All Programs," then select your Web browser from the programs list.

2. Type the URL of the Bell South / AT&T log in page (see "Resources") in the browser's address bar and press "Enter."

3. Type your log in name in the text box next to "Login Name," then press "Tab."

4. Type your password in the text box next to "Password," then press "Enter."

Tips & Warnings

• If you have forgotten your log in name and/or password, click "I forgot my login name" and enter your email address and phone number, and AT&T will email your log in information to you.
