How to Change Your Payment Plan for WoW
World of Warcraft, or WoW, offers a variety of payment options for its monthly subscription service. The need may arise for you to change your payment plan. Some reasons include you having canceled your PayPal account or wanting to charge a different credit card, but one key reason is account hacking, which has been an ongoing problem, to the point that Blizzard offers an automated account recovery form for hacked accounts. Blizzard, as of 2010, is working on solutions, but it is a good idea to know how to change your WoW payment plan.

Log in to your Battle.net account. You will need your email address and password you used to create the account. You can access the account login by clicking the "Manage My Account" button in the WoW login interface.

Select "World of Warcraft" from the "Your Game Accounts" section of the page.

Click "Set Up Game Subscription" near the middle of the page.

Select your payment method from the available payment options and click "Continue" at the bottom.

Select your subscription type. You can select from one, three and six month subscriptions.

Enter in your payment information. If you are using PayPal, you will need to log in and authorize the subscription. Click "Finish" if you are using a credit card. If you are using PayPal, follow the instructions provided to complete the subscription.

Tips & Warnings
You can also choose to enter prepaid card codes in the same window in which you select your payment option. Just select "Pre-Paid Game Time" as your payment method.
Never give out your WoW account password. These tend to be valuable to Internet criminals.
