How to Stop C000021a HP Pavilion XP
The c000021 error is a fatal system error that causes your Hewlett Packard system to shut down. A blue screen will appear before the computer shuts down. Restart your HP computer after the blue screen shuts it down.

Repeatedly tap "F8" when the HP logo screen appears during bootup. This will load a menu with various boot options to select.

Use the arrow keys to select "Last Known Good Configuration" and press "Enter." The system will roll back recent changes and may fix the problem. Continue to the next step if the computer does not successfully boot.
