How do I Calibrate an HP 2840 Color Laserjet Scanner Lamp?
The Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet 2840 is a color printer that is also a scanner, copier and fax component all in one device. The printer's scanner comes with an Automatic Document Feeder that lets you scan a stack of papers instead of one at a time. When scanning problems develop including scans that are too light, missing words and toner appearing around words, it is time to calibrate your HP LaserJet 2840's scanner lamp. The calibration process realigns the lamp and is accessible through the printer's control panel.
