How to Self-Test HP Deskjet 940C

When using your HP Deskjet 940c printer, you may need to perform a self-test from time to time. This diagnostic step simply prints out a test page to ensure that the printer is working properly. Instructions

1. Turn off the printer by pressing the "Power" button.

2. Locate the cable that connects the printer to your PC and unplug it from the back of the printer.

3. Turn on the printer.

4. Press and hold the "Power" button while pressing the "Resume" button four times.

5. Release the "Power" button. Your self-test page will print out.
