How to Create & Print Tickets
If you are holding a charity event, casino night or public party you might need to hand out tickets. Create these tickets by drawing and designing them in a word processing program and then print them on your printer at home. Does this Spark an idea?

Create Your Tickets
-
1
Open a word processing program such as Microsoft Word and create a new blank document. Insert a table in the document and click and drag each column and row until you are satisfied with the size. Each table cell's size will be the size of one ticket.
-
2
Decorate your tickets by inserting custom images or Microsoft Word Clip Art. This is a good idea if you want to give out personalized tickets or tickets that are not identical. Ensure that the decorations are relevant to the event. For example, add images of holly leaves and snowflakes if you are making tickets for a Christmas party.

Add text to your tickets by typing in the event details. Make sure that all the details are accurate and provide enough information for guests; remember that people will be using these tickets to know when and where to go. Add the date, time and location of the event at the very least. Also add the dress code, ticket price and additional guest options, if applicable.
Print Your Tickets
-
4
Click on the "File" command menu button and select the "Print" option; the program will automatically open a new window.
-
5
Navigate to the "Copies" section in the new window and change the number value in the "Number of copies:" field. Do this by pressing the "Up" and "Down" arrow buttons. Print more than the number of copies you require; some may tear or rip --- or, you may sell extra tickets on the event night.
-
6
If you are not printing in color, color your tickets by using colored paper. Insert colored paper into the printer and press the "OK" button in the print setup window. Your tickets are ready to be cut and laminated if you should choose to.
