UNO Game Directions
The card game "UNO," whose name come from the Spanish word for "one," can be found at most major retailers. Up to 10 can play at a time but it is commonly played with two and four people. You can compete to any point total you wish--500 is a common score--and continue dealing hands until the point total is reached by one of the players.

1
Deal seven cards to each of the players and put the remaining cards face down. This will be the draw pile.
-
2
Turn the top card of the draw pile face up. The player to the left of the dealer plays first and must match either the number, color or words of the face up card. If the player doesn't have a match she can play a "Wild" card and change the color.

3
Perform the action if a person plays a card with directions on it. "Skip" bypasses the next player in turn. "Reverse" changes the direction of the play so that the previous player now goes again. "Draw Two" requires the next player to draw two cards. A "Draw Four Wild" card means the player can change the color and force the next player to draw four cards.
-
4
Draw a card if you cannot match the face up card. Play this card if you can. Either way, play continues on to the next person.
-
5
Call out "UNO" if you have only card left. If you fail to do this and other players notice you will be forced to draw two cards.
-
6
Tally points after a player runs out of cards. The player who goes out receives the total points remaining in other players' hands--the numbers on the cards, 50 for each wild card and 20 for each directional card. Pass the deal to the left and continue until the predetermined point total is reached.
