How to Upgrade WinCE 3 Browser
Windows CE 3.0, or WinCE 3, is an outdated Windows browser. You can still find places to download it online, although Microsoft itself does not offer the download. You can still update it, however. You might want to use Windows CE if you like the look and feel of the browser, or if it worked well for you in the past. Windows CE 3 is typically used with computers, though you can make it work for phones or other devices, but only if you know the system and can install it.

Identify a place online to download Windows CE 3.0 (see Resources). There are lots of them, but before you begin to search, make sure your virus protection is up to date, as some download sites can be dangerous. Your computer specialist might also have it on a disc, or know where you can find it.

Click on the link to download the upgrades for Windows CE, or place the disc in your computer and click on the icon for the program when it comes up.

Double-click on the icon for the Windows CE upgrade when it has finished downloading. It will automatically begin to install on your computer. Click through the automatic installation pages to make sure that it installs correctly. It will replace your old version of Windows CD and allow you to use the upgraded version instead.
