Place the popcorn maker on a flat, dry surface. The base of the Stir Crazy Corn Popper is heat-resistant, making it safe for use on table-and counter-tops.

Pour one tablespoon of vegetable oil and 1/3 cup of popcorn kernels onto the base of the popcorn maker. Spread the popcorn across the base evenly with a wooden spoon.

Place the cover on the base of the popcorn maker, making sure to insert the handles of the cover into the handles of the base.

If buttered popcorn is desired, place a tablespoon of butter in the butter well at the top of the cover.

Plug the power cord of the popcorn maker into a 120-volt AC outlet. Once plugged in, the base will heat up and the stirring rod will start to rotate.

Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet when popping is complete, which takes four to six minutes.

Snap the plastic cover securely onto the butter well and double-check that the cover is inserted properly into the base.

Grasp the handles firmly and turn the popper upside down, being careful to avoid any steam. Lift the popcorn maker's base away from the cover.

Sprinkle the popcorn with salt or other seasonings if desired. Popcorn can be portioned into other serving bowls, or served directly from the machine's cover.

Tips & Warnings
One tablespoon of oil and 1/3 cup of popcorn kernels will make two quarts of popped corn.
To clean the Stir Crazy Corn Popper, simply wash the cover and cap in warm soapy water and wipe down the base with a damp sponge.
Pot holders or oven mitts can be worn when flipping the Stir Crazy Corn Popper, to help prevent burns or injuries from steam and melted butter.
