Instructions for the InStep Quick N EZ Bicycle Trailer
The InStep Quick N EZ Bicycle Trailer is a perfect addition to any bicycle. It easily attaches to the rear wheel, providing extra seating for two small children or one larger child. A clear plastic canopy provides shade and protection from wind and rain. The Quick N EZ conveniently attaches to most bikes and is quickly released and stored when it is no longer needed.

1
Remove all parts from the box and spread them out on a flat surface. Familiarize yourself with the name and function of each part.
-
2
Lift the right panel of the canopy frame to begin assembly. Find the crossbar and insert the frame joiner into the housing. Make sure it clicks into place.
-
-
3
Position the canopy over the top of the trailer frame with the large window facing forward.
-
4
Locate the snaps on both sides of the canopy. Snap them into the receiving snaps on each side of the frame.
-
5
Join the canopy to the rear flap with Velcro tape. Secure the two snaps.
-
6
Unroll the rain shield and secure it to the bottom edge of the canopy structure.
-
7
Lay the trailer on its side and pull the lockpin out of the bracket holding the tow bar. Release the tow bar into its fully extended position. Insert the lockpin into the holes in the forward-most part of the tow bar.
-
8
Attach one wheel to each side of the trailer by pushing a wheel axle into each rear wheel bracket hole. Make sure the axle clicks into place.
-
9
Piece together the flagpole sections. Slide the flagpole into the opening at the top left edge of the canopy.
-
10
Use a wrench to remove the bicycle's rear hub nut and washer. Slide the tab washer onto the axle. Be certain the tab fits into the existing slot in the bike frame.
-
11
Place the coupler plate onto the axle in such a way that the pegs on the back of the plate fit inside the holes in the tab washer. Make sure the coupler plate is in a vertical position with the larger hole below the axle.
-
12
Place the bike hub washer and nut back on the axle and use the wrench to tighten the nut.
-
13
Place the end of the trailer's tow bar into the larger hole on the coupler plate. Fasten the Q/R pin, and attach the safety strap to the bike frame.
