How to Clean a Marble Cutting Board

Marble is a durable material sometimes used for cutting boards. Marble cutting boards are sealed, which means they are nonporous. Because of that, cleaning these boards is easy -- most will simply wipe clean.

Although marble is durable, it is sensitive to some chemicals that other materials, such as wood or plastic, can handle without harm. Mild soaps or detergents, or commercially prepared marble cleaners, are safest to use on these surfaces. Does this Spark an idea?
