How to Care for a Mannington Vinyl Floor

Clean your Mannington vinyl flooring with a vinegar-based cleaner.

Mannington carries a number of flooring types, including vinyl. Their line of Adura flooring uses durable and affordable vinyl tiles that resemble ceramic tile but cost only a fraction of the price. As with any other type of flooring, this Mannington vinyl receives a lot of foot traffic and requires a regular cleaning about once per week depending on the amount of use the floor receives. Cleaning can be done with a homemade cleaner that uses a natural disinfectant.

Things You'll Need

• Bucket
• White vinegar
• Dish soap
• Mop
• Broom

Instructions

1. Sweep the vinyl floor every few days with a broom to remove loose debris.

2. Mix one gallon water and 1/2 cup white vinegar in a bucket. Add one tbsp. dish soap for bathroom or kitchen flooring where heavier residue is present.

3. Saturate a mop in the solution and wring out the mop.

4. Wipe the mop across your Mannington flooring and allow the floor to air dry.
