How to Cheat in "Counter Strike 1.6"

All versions of "Counter-Strike" have an in-game console players can use to manipulate gameplay. For example, players can hide the on-screen radar, enable night-vision goggles or give themselves better weapons. While using any of these commands to your advantage is considered cheating, many dedicated servers allow you to use cheats while playing the game.

Instructions

1. Click "Options" in the main menu for "Counter-Strike." Click "Keyboard," "Advanced" and "Enable Developer Console" if necessary.

2. Press the tilde key (~) at any time in-game.

3. Type in any desired cheat. For example, typing "give weapon_ak47" will spawn an AK-47. Some other common cheats are "skin vip" for a VIP character skin; "impulse 101" for $16,000 to spend on guns in the next round; and "+reload" for automatic reloading.
