Microsoft Publisher has several tools to assist with your publishing projects, including free templates. The templates can be downloaded from Microsoft's template gallery online or directly from the software. The calendar templates are available on the main template gallery menu. Download a calendar template and customize it to your needs. With Microsoft Publisher, you can include your company information, time frame, page size and font and color schemes.

      Open Publisher 2010 and click the "File" tab. Click "New." Click the "Calendars." Preview a calendar by clicking the calendar icon and reviewing the preview in the right task pane.

      Customize the template by selecting options from the right task pane. Pick a color scheme from the "Color Scheme" drop-down box. Select a font from the "Font Scheme" drop-down list. Add your company information in the "Business Information" area. Click "Add New" to update the business information.

      Adjust the page orientation in the "Page Size" field. Select the calendar time frame from the "Time Frame" options. Download the calendar by clicking the download icon.

      Review the downloaded calendar template. Save the calendar template by clicking the "Save" icon the Quick Access Toolbar.
