  • Nylon netting
  • Paper towel tube
  • Scissors

      Cut four strips of nylon netting into 1- to 2-inch strips. Knot the four pieces together forming one long piece. Wind around a paper towel tube to keep it from tangling.

      Cast on 18 stitches holding the yarn and tulle together. Knit rows of (k1, p1, k1, p1) work until scrubber is six inches or desired length.

      Knit four rows of garter stitch evenly around scrubber. Bind off yarn. Weave in yarn ends or use to create a loop for hanging.

      Clean scrubbers in the top rack of the dishwasher, or in the washing machine, allow to completely dry. One scrubber will last a couple of months.
