Farm Town is an online game playable through the social networking site Facebook. In the game you work as a farmer, trying to gain the prized Farm Town Coins. In the game, you grow crops and work on other people's farms. You can design your farmland into all manner of different shapes and even make pictures out of your crops. Earning money is vital to the game, allowing you to buy new seeds and animals for your farm. There are a few tips that will help you get more coins along the way.

Talk to your neighbors. Not only will your neighbors on the game have a few additional pointers for you, you can send gifts to them and most likely get something in return, which can then be sold. One of the major ways to make money is to work on other people's farms, and keeping on good terms with the neighbors increases your chances of finding a bit of work before your crops come to harvest.

Go to the Facebook group's forum to find other people to be your neighbors. Neighbors have to be invited, so if none of your friends play, you will need to make some new friends. The forum has a lot of experienced users, and they may be able to suggest improvements to your farm that your friends wouldn't consider.

Hire somebody to harvest your crops for you. You will make more money from your harvest if you've got somebody helping you out. Invest your money into getting new crops and expanding at first, and pick something quick to grow, such as potatoes, to get some money in early on in the game. Replant any plowed squares before you spend any money, so you have a more reliable stream of income.

Get 10 neighbors to be able to hire a plow. With the plow hire option unlocked, working on your neighbors' farms is easier and cheaper. You still keep the experience points for the work you complete, even though the plow handles most of it for you.

Click on the "Preferences" button in the top right hand corner of the screen. This is the spanner icon. Farm Town automatically sets spaces between your crops, which reduces the amount you can get out of your space.

Check the option that says "Remove Space Between Fields" and then click the green arrow. This defualt setting is a barrier to money-making, and disabling the option gives you the opportunity to increase your Farm Coin income.

Rebuild your farm without the spaces between crops. This will increase your productivity and therefore your cash flow exponentially.
