How to Install Page Maker

Adobe PageMaker is a desktop publishing program produced by Adobe, first released in 2002. PageMaker is older and is not supported on Windows 7, so it is only compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Windows 2000, and NT operating systems. Additionally, PageMaker needs 175 MB of hard disk space and 32 MB of RAM for installation.

      Exit any current programs running on your PC. Insert the Adobe PageMaker installation CD into your PC's CD-ROM drive.

      Click "Installation" and select "Adobe PageMaker." Click "Next" and then select the version of English to use for Adobe PageMaker's dictionary. Click "Next."

      Select the language you want to install Adobe PageMaker in, then click "Next." Reviews the terms of service, then select "Accept" on the list of terms of service.

      Select "Typical" for type of installation to install using the default settings. Click "Next." Fill out the "User Information" using your personal or business information. Click "Next" and then click "Yes" to confirm.

      Click "Next" to verify that all of your installation options are correct. After the install is complete, remove the Adobe PageMaker install CD from your computer and select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now." Click "Finish."
