How to Place a Round Robin Bet
While sports betting is illegal around much of the United States, it is quite common in places such as Las Vegas and Atlantic City and in other countries around the world. One often-used type of bet is the round robin bet, which allows you to pair different matchups of teams together in one bet. Different than the parlay bet, the round robin allows you to lose a game or a set of games while still winning the bet's payout.

1
Pick at least three teams or matchups that you think will win. You can select either money lines, point spreads or over/unders for round robin bets.
-
2
Select a bet amount, for example, $75 for a six-team round robin.
-
-
3
Match the teams up in groups that will give you the best chance of winning. You can pair as many as five different teams together, or as few as two teams.
-
4
Decide how many bets you would like to make. You can make five different five-team bets, or as many two-, three- or four-team bets as possible, as long as the teams are different for each bet. Bets with five teams will pay off higher odds, while multiple two-eam bets will pay small amounts but are more likely to win.
-
5
Decide how much you would like to spend on each bet. For example, if you make five different five-team bets, you can wager $15 on each bet for the same payout on each.
