Whether you are conducting an orientation session for new employees or a sales demonstration for prospective clients, the ability to easily connect the projector to a component video source can be a big help.

      Place the projector on a sturdy table or desk. Position the projector so that the video displays properly on the wall or screen you will be using.

      Connect the VGA connector end of the component-to-VGA cable to the VGA connector on the projector. This VGA connector is nearly square and colored blue on many projector models. The VGA connectors are labeled "Computer 1" and "Computer 2."

      Take the three component ends of a component-to-VGA cable to the cables on your video component. Make sure the cables are firmly seated.

      Turn on your component video source, then power on the projector. Press the "Input" button on the top of the projector until the "Video" or "Component Video" is displayed. Watch for the component video to be displayed on your projector screen.
