How to Install Dollhouse Wiring
Electric lighting makes a dollhouse truly special. Even a 19th-century-style dollhouse can be enhanced with electric lights that mimic gas lights, oil lamps or even candles. Other lighted features can be plugged into the wiring system. A lighted miniature Christmas tree is an enchanting addition for any holiday dollhouse, while a tiny television adds a fun touch to a miniature den in a modern house.

Tips & Warnings
Place your light fixtures before you install the carpet and wallpaper. You can then carpet and paper over the wires.
Drill the holes for ceiling fixtures near the room's ceiling. Drill the holes for lamps either near the floor.
Use a transformer with the proper wattage for the number of light bulbs you wish to install. The more lights the larger the wattage required. For 10 bulbs, you will need a 5-watt transformer; for 16 bulbs, you will need a 10-watt.
If you have a large number of lights, use two socket boards and distribute the lights evenly, with approximately the same number of bulbs plugged into to each board.
